This one was nice to paint, in that i actually stood on the path , which can lead to alot less woodticks, and other friendly critters on your person !

This is a larger studio painting I recently finished.
Every so often, when your out scouting for locations, you see the completed painting in your mind before you even set up your easel. Such was the case with this one-i couldnt wait to get at it! I hope i captured it well enough to share it with you. 
This piece painted at a location along the Mississippi, that i return to several times a year. It Always seems to offer something different each time. Nature is not redundant, in my opinion-tune in...and paint!
