Under Painting

This is the underpainting for a Studio version of "Ranchers Gate".I first captured (I hope) this powerful scene just outside Ouray Colorado, on a September morning, during a www.pleiairsouthwest.com paintout. Wer'e Open !

On July 30th 2010 I opened Jonathan Fine Art http://www.jonathanfineart.com/ in Tularosa New Mexico.

The Gallery is for now featuring my plein air and Studio landscapes. I plan to have guest artists work in the future.

The Gallery shares the space with the Mano y Mente Museum. It features works donated by past program artists.

Hours will be Wednesday-Saturday 12-6

Study for Winter Solitude
